Ladies Auxiliary
Hi,
My name is Karen Hoffman, and I am the new President of the Ladies Auxiliary. If your husband, father or brother is a Knights of Columbus member in good standing, we would love for you to join our group. If you are a widow, and your husband was a member in good standing, you are also welcome to join us.
We are a social group that meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m for snacks, and 7:30 pm for our meeting in the Holy Infant Room.
Our Next Meeting: August 16th at 6:30 at the Wildhorse Grill.
We support the Knights of Columbus and our parish community through fundraising, pro-life causes, charitable works, and assisting with special events in a warm and gracious manner. Murder in Mayberry Dinner Theater was something we sponsored recently.
Fundraisers:
Breakfast with Santa: December 3rd, 2011
Bunny Lunch: March 31st, 2012
Ash Wednesday Fasting Dinner: February 22nd, 2012 (New Event)
Renewal of Marriage Vows: May 5th, 2012.
We donate to the following causes each year: R.I.B (Religious Information Bureau), Sister’s Prison Ministries – Vital Society – Agape House, State Vocational Fund and Special Olympics.
Some other donations we have made this year: Holy Infant Christmas Family (we sponsor a parish family each year so they can have a nice Christmas), Holy Infant Building Fund and Fisher House (providing a "home away from home" for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury).
I hope you have the opportunity to come to one of our meetings soon so that you can meet all of us and get to know our organization. Membership dues are only $15 a year. You can fill out an application when you attend your first meeting.
